Widen your horizons through worldwide experiences by spreading the Fathers’ love, sharing the gospel, healing the sick, feeding the poor, and making disciples through first hand missions work and various types of support involvement as we jump into Central and South America and other regions of the world!
We believe that the last words Jesus spoke before ascending into heaven require action. As recorded in Matthew 28:19 He said, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…” While sharing with those around us every day is of great importance, Jesus commands us to go beyond those borders into the nations. There are many ways to fulfill this. Important ways to “go and make disciples” include prayer support, financial giving and meeting the practical needs of those who go and those who are being reached in the nations. Without support in these ways for the ones who physically go, the world could never be reached with the good news and the love of the Father.
Peg and Jay began “going” through their giving of finances and prayer support for several years before doors began to open for them personally into the nations. Jay began with his first trip to Russia in 1996 to help plant a church in the Ural Mountains. Peg made her first trip shortly following that to Mexico into some small mountain villages. Since that time, God has continued to expand our borders to “go” and bring good news, healing, encouragement, discipleship, and to help the poor around the world. Our opportunities take on many faces as we give, pray, and go.
