This can be a single day seminar to train groups of any size to be active in prophetic evangelism. This method of evangelism can be used with any age group or culture. It involves activation steps of going out into the community. While most training is designed for individuals in leadership roles, this outreach training can involve believers with a basic understanding of Christian principles, including teens.
What is prophetic evangelism? Prophetic evangelism is using the gifts of the Holy Spirit to direct the focus of sharing the good news of the love of God. Simple steps are introduced to assist you in hearing and following the Holy Spirit’s direction.
Our small group met to do some prophetic evangelism in our community. In asking the Lord for direction, one young man heard the words chocolate milk. Praying and asking the Holy Spirit to give further direction, our team decided to go to a local grocery store into the milk aisle. We found a man there, stocking milk. Our guy introduced himself and asked if there was anything he (the grocery attendant) would like prayer for. The attendant replied that yes, he would like prayer for his sins to be forgiven. He felt guilty and wanted to be free from the guilt. Our team member shared the good news of forgiveness through Jesus and prayed with the attendant to receive forgiveness and salvation through Jesus Christ! It was absolutely amazing! God led us straight to someone who was looking for answers and help!”
