- We believe that the blood of Jesus was shed for the forgiveness of sins, and is the only atonement for sin. Romans 5:9-11; 1 Peter 1:18-19; Hebrews 9:22
- We believe in the believer’s assurance of salvation by faith in Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 9:28
- We believe in water baptism by immersion as an act of obedience to Christ in the life of the believer, symbolic of the believer’s identification with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:19; Acts 8:38; Romans 6:3-5
- We believe in the believer’s authority in the name of Jesus Christ, and in the working of the Holy Spirit on the earth to heal sickness and disease and to deliver mankind from bondages. Mark 16:17-18; Acts 3:6-7, Romans 6:3-5
- We believe in the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit to convict mankind of sin, to comfort, teach, lead and guide the believer into all truth, and to dwell within the believer. John 14:15-17, 26-27; John 16: 7-11
- We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit being a second experience subsequent to salvation whereby God empowers His church for ministry and service. Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1-18, Acts 10:46; Acts 19:1-17; Luke 11:13, John 7:37-39
- We believe in the eternal life of the believer and the eternal punishment of the unbeliever. John 3:16-18; Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 21:8
- We believe in the local church, comprised of believers in Christ who are empowered by God to overcome sin and Satan; living a holy and separated life, showing forth the love of Christ to a needy and dying world.
